Re: 91' ZR1 BLACK MOTOR CAR FOR SALE VERY RARE
I sent an email to Baker and he returned it wanting pictures. He remembered the car, I sent the pictures but have not heard back from him. The father of Black motor engines seems to be Baker, but this was actually built just before the Widow Cars. I believe Rippie got the contract with GM's approval the way I understand it. Baker and Dieline built this car to showboat the black motor cars and what they could do with them. It has the DRM-500 Chip, it was machined my Mercury Marine, It has Mercruiser Key chain in the Owners packet as well. Everything is the same except no Rippie Name, You could say this is a Widow car without Rippies Name on it. This may be the only Black motor Car not built by Rippie. Why wouldn't the value be the same as a widow car? It should be the same shouldn't it? It has more options than the widow cars (cage, AP racing brakes, foam filled frame and more). Maybe its just the market on these cars right now?
I have an old appraisal of the car that reference the car with 11 and 13" wheels, I also have another document that says they are 12 and 14" wheels. When the owner had the new tires installed the insides were 12 and 14" This is the info I have. I will measure and see what the wheels are on the outside and use a judgement call, I'm wont dismount for that, But we definetly need the correct info. Thanks for all the info. |
