Question about catch can, specifically on a '90
When you all are installing your catch can, what are you using where the hose hits the plenum connection? Are you still using that square two-hole rubber piece, and inserting some kind of short pipe into it? Do you remove it? It looks like it would be hard to get two hoses on the two nipples attached to the plenum, since they are so close together.
Also, I had a thought to take the existing tube that runs from the F-piece to the plenum, cut a small section out between the two tabs that are held in place by plenum screws, then angle them out a bit, and attach my catch can hoses there. Would that be a terrible idea? I thought the plus would be it will keep the connections at the F pipe and at the plenum from moving around, which presumably will prolong the life of these expensive-to-replace pieces. I also thought it might look a little more "factory".
