Default Dielectric grease

O.k. D-day minus one.
Tomorrow I am pulling the plenum to seal vacuum lines and replace fuel injector.
When reconnecting electrical connector, would you recommend dielectric grease (jell). Is this to keep the moisture out?
Hoes this stuff conduct electricity?
I normally use the stuff around the spark plug boot. Same stuff?
