Re: Hey!! Fast Boyz from Illinoiz
We made it back to Maryland with no problems.
IT WAS A GREAT TRIP!!!!! I highly recommend getting in your ZR-1, just pick a destination and drive!!! I started out with a simple plan to see Keith and ended up with 2000 miles of fun and perma-grinning. Thanks to David for being a great co-pilot. It was great to have you along. Thanks to Dave in Columbus for a great welcome and a fun afternoon in the Ohio countryside. We stopped in South Bend over night and, on Saturday morning, got to see the College Football Hall of Fame before driving on to the Chicago area. We were welcomed to Chicago by Marc Haibeck and the Fast Boys from Illinois. What a great bunch of guys. Thanks to Brian, Fred, Bob, Bob G, Pete, Dominic, Bob, Paul, Lee, Jeff, Kevin and some more for a great time. We got out of Chicago late Saturday Night to avoid the snow and stopped near Bloomington, IL. On Sunday we "shoveled out"... and then drove on to St Louis where we got to relax at Moudy's Bar and Grill: Thanks to Keith and Terri for a wonderful visit. You have a nice place there. Sunday afternoon we stopped at the Gateway Arch in St Louis: and then drove on to Indianapolis. Then on Monday morning we headed east and arrived back in Maryland in the afternoon. We covered 2032 miles and the ZR-1 performed flawlessly. 96,000 miles on the odometer now. Jim
