How bad is it at GM

Possibly more of it is savings in terms of not maintaining and storing all these? I imagine they have some staff dedicated to nothing but that.

Or maybe it's just symbolic, or perhaps they want to get rid of them before they end up part of some bankruptcy proceedings...
