Please Reach Out to Mods if You Think Someone Might Be Trying to Scam You on a Sale

I had a member reach out to me today with details and evidence of a rather elaborate scam involving a Forum User with an approximately 6 month old account and who had engaged respectfully in the open Forum with other Members and Users over the past several months.

This was to purchase a $200 part and involved a 3rd party individual. The scammer even spoke with our Member over the phone adding to the realism and depth to the scam. It started to get fishy to our member so they reached out to me.

I was able to check the back end of the users profile, their listed email address, and their IP address. I was able to confirm this person had attempted to scam people on another, separate Forum. I then banned the user's email and deleted their account.
