More car shows, more enjoyment.
A view I am quite fond of: I have found a very small hole in a section of plastic tubing in one of the refrigerant lines. At some point I need to drain it and replace the section. I actually think this may be the culprit of some of my recent engine temp concerns. As the fluid leaks the AC system must work harder to compensate, which dumps more heat into the engine. Running without the AC on basically eliminates my problems. Once fixed I am hoping the AC won't affect my engine temps quite as drastically. I am a member of Old Dominion Corvette Club as they host a bunch of local-ish events to me. We took part of their 34th Annual All Corvette Cruise-In. Despite being scorching out it was a good time. Of course we were at Carlisle, too. Great to meet everyone. We didn't shine her up until the last day on account of the weather. Phil Wasinger allowed me to borrow his Tech-1A to try and troubleshoot an issue I have been experiencing on cold start. Yesterday the weather was too nice to ignore. We popped the top and went for a ride through Shenandoah. Nice drive with great views. Last edited by Raykahn; 09-05-2023 at 09:45 AM. |
