Default Parking brake resistance

Merry Christmas,

Hello all,

I have a question. My Z was transported around 450 miles on a flat bed truck car carrier. When they delivered it the parking brake lever was sticking straight up, so I had to push it down to get into the car. They told me the had to crank up the brake lever for the trip. The problem is there is a lot of resistance now in the lever and I have to move it manually instead of having no resistance and the lever would fall itself. I drove the car seeing if the resistance would be relieved. It did nothing to the resistance in the lever. Other than the hard resistance of the lever the parking brake does work.

Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.

Joel
