Default Ruby is back from Haibeck Automotive

I posted this on our Facebook page but I thought it should go here as well. Especially since I'm considering selling her.

My Ruby is just back from Haibeck Automotive. I bought her from the original owner in Hawaii. This was back in 2009 just after I retired from the Air Force. The original owner had the car modified with around $40k worth of work and add-ons to include a rather rare Morrison Body Kit. He also shipped the engine to Jeal for his CAM'd 368 package. I have all the pictures of the engine build and all the reciepts for the Car build as well. All totaled up, the original owner had invested over $100k in this Ruby. The 368 pulled 532 HP on the engine dyno back in the day. When Marc tuned her last week, she was able to pull 485 Crank HP with the stock exhaust installed. I wanted the stock exhaust because I like the looks. Lucky for me, ZR-1 Peter Polatsidis had a stock 93-95 exhaust which he just gave me. Thanks Pete! My Z does have headers and the Borla resonator which ended up giving her a nice growl...
Here's what Marc wrote on his service summary:
15-May-22 Ron Hanselman ?93 ZR-1 VIN 099 Miles: 42,036
The roll bar was removed. The mounts were found to be sealed to the chassis very well.
New OE style mass back carpeting was installed over the wheelhouses.
The engine was running hot mostly because the fan box has been cut open so as to cause the fans to recirculate air around the fans rather than through the radiator. A new fan box was installed and mounted correctly with respect to the radiator face. The four heater hoses were replaced. A 170-degree thermostat was installed. A new lower radiator hose was installed. A new gasket was installed on the reservoir cap. The system was filled with green color-coded coolant. The engine runs about 10 degrees warm at 90 degrees ambient temperature because the inlet to the radiator is too small.
New polarizing light filters were installed on the cluster LCD display.
A Hurst shifter was installed.
The rear coil overs were relocated 5/8? forward for good clearance to the half shafts.
The dog bone bushings were found to be Prothane polyurethane and in good condition.
Supplied polyurethane bushings were installed on the rear chassis to driveline mounts.
A leaky left half shaft yolk seal was replaced. The rear axle lubricant was replaced with Amsoil SVG 75W-90 synthetic lubricant. The friction modifier additive was added.
The engine oil was replaced with Amsoil AMO 10W-40 API SH synthetic oil. A supplied oil filter was installed. The front suspension was lubricated at four points.
The secondary intake port throttle valves were removed. The engine was refinished in Fine Silver. Stainless steel bolts were installed.
The courtesy lamps were not working. A defective courtesy lamp relay was replaced.
The left door lamp switch was shimmed for correct operation.
All four-speaker amplifiers were replaced. A reconditioned CD player was installed. The GM CD skip reduction upgrade was installed.
The chassis brace was removed.
A supplied exhaust system was installed.
New Denso IT20TT fine tip spark plugs were installed. There were gapped at .040?. They can be run for 40k miles.
New Bosch oxygen sensors were installed.
The engine was retuned for closed-loop operation and without secondary intake port throttles.
The engine was dyno-tuned for best power.
The K&N air filter was cleaned and installed correctly. Supports were added to the air filter box so that the filter seals correctly.
The AC system was topped off with five ounces of refrigerant. Sealing caps were installed on all three service ports to prevent leakage.
New tubing was installed for the brake cooling ducts.
The camshaft sensor was leaking oil. A new sensor was installed.
The console door pad was repaired.
A new upper weatherstrip was installed on the left door.
A broken front glass track guide was replaced.
A takeoff Borla resonator was installed.
