Any fix for a worn 91 ashtray lid? - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Hi,

hope you don't lough to hard about this naive rookie question... But is there any fix to a scratched 91 ashtray lid?! Mine is terribly worn inside and outside. No idea how the previous owner could scratch it all around that badly.
As per my research there is no replacement that looks and feels like the original. Only up to 89... Or is there a hidden ZR-1 owners source?

Jokes apart - has anyone found a solution? Is there a correct paint or a restoration part? My Z looks fantastic on the inside (outside, too...) but this is a real flaw...
Any help is much appreciated!
