Default Cold starting ZR-1 question

Ok guys, yes there is still snow on the ground in MN, but I'm already thinking spring.

I'm wondering, when I go to start my old 'vette, I DON'T give it any gas and I hit the key a few times for a few seconds each. That has the effect on my carbureted car of spinning the motor with no ignition, and letting the oil pressure come up before starting.

Can I do something similar on the ZR-1?

Chris
