Default Repairing DIS Module?

When my car was dead, I feared that the DIS module was the culprit. Turns out that I had a dead fuel pump...

However, when I was looking for one, I found a place called G7 computers that rebuilds automotive ECUs. I sent them a message asking if they could repair the DIS module in my 1991 ZR1 and I got a message back that they can repair them and they would charge me $225 for it. I was kinda shocked because I was under the impression that they were not repairable.

My first question is: Has any one tried sending on to them? Second: Any one have a dead one sitting around? I'm game to send out out and see if they can indeed fix it. They said that if they can't they will send it back no charge.

Cheers,

Reed
