I was reading an article it says the engine oil should get to a minimum of 212* Farenheigh to burn off water, etc.

With the engine oil cooler it seems my oil temp's never exceed 190* to 200* and i am considering taking it off.

What is the thermostat opening temp of the oil cooler?

Had anyone had any negative experiences after removing the engine oil cooler?
