I just bought a 1990 Z that has been sitting for about 5 years. I know I will have to change fuel injectors, fuel pumps, fuel filter and blow out fuel lines among several other things. So the story is the previous owner thought the fuel pump went out. When I got it home and was cleaning it and just giving it a close look over I noticed the horns are unplugged. I just wondering could the Vats system be the problem and if a inline resistor to disable the Vats system would eliminate any problems that system may have had. It's going to be a few weeks before I even attempt to start it, I'm completely in the dark about the no start condition, just curious if disabling the Vats right off the bat will be a good idea. I'm sure I'm going to encounter several issues since it's been sitting so long. Other than the horns everything else looks fine.
