Disable power antenna?

Hello every one.

I come today with a simple question.

Can i make my power antenna not extend up every time i turn on my radio/CD deck?

My cars radio system is bone stock and never touched.
The car is a 95 ZR-1

Can i just unplug the power antenna mast or something?

I performed this unplugging on my 1993 subaru legacy turbo because it was a 2 wire system. One was power up and down, and the other was the actual antenna for radio signal.

Thoughts?
