Hans,

U know and I know that the Corvette will never be taken seriously until it gets a proper powerplant, which today would include a hybrid. But a truck motor ain’t going to get the job done. Its why McLellan did what he did.
U can get prodigious amounts of torque from a diesel motor too but ....
Any thought of producing a mid engine will need to include a modern motor configuration full stop otherwise its a Fiero.
