I dont know if you all remember, but I posted last year or so and I mentioned that I had a 94 yellow zr1 coming my way via a will. Well after a summer of discussion and me offering to just buy the car and figure out the will stuff later.... it happened. He gave me a damn zr1 corvette. I'm beyond ecstatic. I'm beside myself. It certainly isn't the most noble way to get the car, but I frankly dont care. I am humbled beyond words. If had my eye on this car for 20 years. It took my mother's passing and a few battles, but damn if I'm not the luckiest guy I know.
I already started the rehab process with new nt555's (777$ mounted and balanced which I feel is fair), 2 spare keys made and a fuel pump gets here Tuesday so I can see how much fuel I have. My question is concerning the rear. There is a "clinking" that happens when i take off. It's not every time, but a lot. If I was in my truck, I'd say it's a u-joint but I'm told it may be a different problem. im not familiar with the ins and outs what this car has. It seems to be noticeable in the driver's side, but that could be because I'm on that side most. Any ideas? Thanks for any help |
