I have nothing to compare it to as far as lower elevation.....all I can say, is I can just imagine what it feels like at sea level. It runs good, no coughs or stumles. I did notice that when I first took it off the transport truck it was blowing some black smoke, then white, then grey, then none.....just the ECM adjusting for atmospheric pressue & the elevation.
No smoke now & it runs great.
