ZR1 quites running after short distance - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Looking for some suggestions on my 1990 ZR! which I recently purchased. I bought the car knowing this problem exited. After driving the car 1/4 mile to a mile, the car just stops. Appears to be out of fuel. The previous owner put in a complete new fuel pump assembly to no avail. One thing he did have done was have someone put in a new ignition switch about the same time as the problem started. How and what would the ignition switch do to cause this problem. The switch is inexpensive but would like to understand why this would occur. What other potential areas would cause the same problem. Thanks for any help.
