Re: Change in Plans
Sorry about all the bad spelling but I was typing on my android phone. One thing, I did find a place called "Foreign car and Corvette Repair" in Margate Florida. I spoke with one of there mechanics and explained what I had. He works on many foreign dohc cars and is not afraid of them but he did say, I have never seen a LT5 in person, I would love to be able to work on one if you bring yours in. That is one thing that scares me the fact that they are going to practice on my car. Eisman Corvette might be able to do some things to a LT5 but they dont have the knowledge of a Haibeck or a Corey Henderson or Aaron Scott. Florida is a place where owning a ZR1 is a scary proposition unless you like to ship your cars all over the place. Like I previously said, thankfully our LT5's dont suffer catastrophic engine failures to frequently so towing cars all over the place wont be such a issue but if you are going to mod then it will be. There are lots of Zr1's in Florida so I am surprised that nobody will take one on and work on them on a steady basis. I dont know what price I will be asking but it wont be much considering how much money has been dumped on this car by the last 3 owners. Whomever winds up with it will have a helluva car.
