The only C4 Corvette listed that got the gas guzzler tax (according to the EPA source)was the Callaway twin Turbo for 1990 and 1991 model years, listed under the Callaway company as the manufacturer.
For model year 1994, there not one single GM made car that is listed to get the gas guzzler tax. I don't know why there is an apparent conflict, the EPA source I listed was a simple quick search. I have no idea as to its accuracy or validity. Errors or omissions can occur in any format.
