The wiring will not be plug and play, it will be wires tapped into other wires and the door lock wires have to be cut and spliced due to the nature of the Power lock design of our cars. if you look at the Batee Link I posted a picture shows the VKE 1000 box with a price of $99. That would be the MAX I would pay for a VKE that was manufactured 10+ years ago. If you want to keep it factory, then that would be installing nothing and using the key to unlock the door. Keep in mine if you install a keyless system and shut the doors and lock the car with the key fob, the factory alarm is not set. The way the factory alarm is set or armed, is door/s open, Key out of ignition, then hit the power lock button. I have my system wired to disarm on unlock, and I am still figuring out the arm with door shut..
