Rear interior lights wont turn off with rear hatch vent hook on.. - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Had no problem using the rear hatch vent hook last year during the warm months....Left it in for months with no interior lights on..

Reinstalled yesterday and for the life of me I can not get the two rear interior lights to go off...Tried spraying the mechanism with contact cleaner but light still wont go off....

Any tips on fixing this or bypassing those two rear interior lights?
