Headlight Door Question

I never had to do this repair, but I would be inclined to try out the aluminum ones. Another thing is if these things lasted 15 years I wouldn't really have an issue replacing the set with all plastic ones again- especially since I don't drive in dark conditions very frequently- maybe in the winter months.
