Jerry's LT5 Paint

For those who have used the LT5 paint from Jerry's, did this go on good for you guys? I just tried painting my plenum with this stuff and it and will not cover worth a darn. I prepped the manifold correctly, did not use any primer though. Just wondering if I got a bad can or something, but going to have to sand all of it all and go get something else. What else are you guys using to paint your intakes (I don't have time to have them powder coated)?
