Re: I found the "BEST ZR1 FOR SALE"
Believe it or not I actually did check out this car.....I saw that the top bud was 17,600.......I dropped the owner an email and he seemed pretty knowledgable when he responded back....
Long story short,I drove to Maryland from Brooklyn to check it out......Nice car very nice car.......He presented it well and as described.......I did drive it and it drove well with a lot of power........I noticed at times the car did surge a little at idle and when I drove it and came off the gas you can see the RPM bounce a little.........Not too knowledgeable with the LT-5 engine but it may just have been maybe a slight vacuum leak........Tires were OK probably would need replacement in a few seasons ..... I offered 17.600 cash in hand.......I figured without the eBay and pay pal fees he would jump but no .........I spent an hour with this car...The owner was a great guy and you could see he did take care of it but the best he could do that day was 19,000... He contacted me a week later and said 18,700 would do the trick......Next day I bought the 91 blk/blk from Gateway classics in Chicago for 18,500...... You could if you want check it out on gateway classics.com....Go to Chicago showroom and type in 91 corvette.......Its lot # 633......... Let's hope I chose the right one......Lol..... |
