The Hurst shifter uses the exact same thread and locking mechanism as the stock shifter. Not familiar w B&M.
The lock on a Hurst and any other ball type shifter is a jamb-nut. There is NO Hurst that uses a lock similar to a C4 stock OR AS I learned a C5 stock shifter. Now if you can show me one of those (a Hurst with a wedge lock) I'll likely be embarrassed but so goes it. I don't believe there is one!
