Default Can we oblige WILD ABOUT CARS. com?

Here's some correspondence from Bob Gerometta of Wild About Cars regarding my comments on when will they recognize the ZR-1. They're supposed to be about "golden era" muscle cars but also have done articles about an 87 GN.
So I wrote this to him and he kindly and quickly responded.
Anybody got something we should submit?

Editor,

If you’re going to celebrate the 87 GNX, which is not a Golden Era Muscle Car, why not do something on the car that really started the march back to horsepower.
The 1990 Corvette ZR-1 w 375hp. Nothing even came close. Even today, the Lotus developed/MercCruiser built DOHC is a singular motor for America’s sports car. Nothing like it before or since. It will be 25 years old in ’15 and still can compete w other NA cars of today. Just a thought.

We celebrate all cars - and what we do in many cases is post the road tests for these vehicles so that people can see what they were saying back in the day. What you see celebrated is merely us talking about what we’ve posted so that people can look it up and download it.

At some point we will get through our backlog of road tests and hit upon the 1990 ZR-1. Of course, if you can scan in any ZR-1 road tests in high quality @300 dpi or better and e-mail the images to us, we will gladly post them and talk about it in No Limits.

I will have our staff research our huge backlog (over 150,000 images) and see if they can pull a road test, but if you have one . . . it will happen a lot faster.
