That was the main reason I fitted a set when putting everything back together. There is no doubt that my car now tracks much straighter under hard acceleration and the old kick on the 1st to 2nd shift has gone. How much difference the beam plates made overall is hard for me to judge as I changed to coil overs, poly bushes (including the diff carrier) and bigger sway bars at the same time. I'm sure they played their part in the improvement
