Just a reminder!

This is for everyone, but especially you BIG GUNS competing at the drag races at "No LImit Dragway" (aka US 41 Dragway in Morocco, IN) next Sunday the 29th):

(1) When you register at the registration tent to race, be sure to sign up under the ZR-1 Registry "Club". This is important, or we run the risk of your speed record being placed under some other club name. We sure don't want that!!

(2) Be sure to stop by the Registration tent to post your time slip results. Otherwise run the risk of the winning slip not being posted/credited to the Club. (And, this too has happened in the past. And, again, we sure don't want that!!)

I think Dominic was kidding about someone bringing a trailer to carry back the wounded. Well, actually, I think that is worth considering. Unfortunately, I will not be racing this year, but I will be driving my truck, and if y'all want to chip in, I could arrange to pick up a U-Haul trailer and tow it to the race...just in case. (I believe the cost is only about $55/day - divided by however many want to race or contribute.) Any thoughts on this???

Sure wish I was a racin'. But, long as the car is down (looks like for the season) I might as well get working on a couple mods I have in mind. (Just curious to see if I can get above the 450 rwhp mark on a stock bottom and stocked cammed LT5. (I have "only" about 18 hp more to gain to reach the goal.
