I bought fuel injectors from FIC some years ago and I'm finally going to install them. I found that the secondaries have a blue cap on the tip. I think somebody posted about this recently but a search could not find it. Does the blue cap need to be removed?
This has been quite a tough job for me. Pulling out the fuel rail is pretty hard for an old guy like me. Cleaning the o-ring groove in the injector housing for the primaries is not going to be easy either. Since I have the plenum off, I also cut my MSD ignition wires shorter. They were somewhat longer than the stock wires and make a mess running up against the fire wall. I did leave them a little longer than stock in case I messed up and had to redo a stripping and crimping. I only had to do one of them twice. |
