I can't resist a challenge on repairing things.
Back about 12yrs ago my secondary vacuum pump failed. I took it apart and replaced the diaphragm in it. The I used epoxy to hold the cover for the diaphragm in place and avoid leaks. Well 12yrs later it fails again. This time I fashioned a bracket that fits over the vacuum pump and holds the diaphragm in place. This way I can get back in and put a new diaphragm in without having to chip away at the glue holding the cover for the diaphragm in. Picture of damaged diaphragm http://zr1.net/forum/album.php?album...pictureid=1445 Picture of bracket around pump http://zr1.net/forum/album.php?album...pictureid=1446 Not the prettiest thing in the world but oh so functional.
