Default Morris Cruise Night!!

The first Morris Cruise night of the season is coming up on Saturday, June 9th, and only $10 per show car.

This is always a really great event; lots of different cars and car clubs, (some are a bit crazy!), trucks, motorcycles, food, drink, music - a real "happening"!

It is amazing how many people have never seen a ZR-1, let alone a group of them! So, I hope we can get a few together to put on a good show and have some fun!

The event is officially open from 6 to 9 PM, but we can arrive and park as early as 4:30pm and hang out or wander around and look at the show and then gather at some pre-determined time for Mexican food and take in more of the festival atmosphere afterward!

You can do Google it, but most will be taking I-80 to Morris (take IL rt 47 exit to Morris, and go south (about a mile)to to E Washington street, and go west 2 blocks to the entrance at Liberty Street. (Note: If you cross the IL River, you just went two blocks south too far! Turn around and look for Washington Street (traffic light) and turn west.))

At the entrance, be sure to tell them you are with the ZR-1 Registry group, and when you pay your $10 they'll give you a colored piece of paper to put on the dash. Then proceed up Liberty street. At each intersection there will be an event person directing traffic. The colored paper will signal them where to direct you for parking.

This will be a lot of fun! CarZ, friendZ, food, drink, bring the significant other! Hope most of y'all can make it!
P.
