A friend who just recently returned from TDY to Kuwait passed this information to me. As most of us know, LRMC is first point of contact for wounded in action service personnel men and women.

TAKE A WOUNDED SOLDIER TO THE MOVIES: Meeting the request and
desire for persons and families to be more personally involved in caring for and supporting our wounded troops during this holiday season, the

Command has endorsed in coordination with LRMC the "Take a Wounded
Soldier to the Movies" program. We invite interested persons and
families to send packages directly to the Landstuhl Regional Medical
Center.

Packets should be addressed:

Each packet should include:

A DVD movie - (please do not include combat and/or violent movies)

Candy

Microwaveable popcorn packets

An AT& T Telephone card

A letter from the person or family offering motivational thoughts and
expressing support
