I gotta agree on the color, Steel Blue woulda looked better to me then the purp, but thats just MHO, sure gets the car noticed even if its for the wrong reason!
Car looks different to me for some reason as I remember when Clint had it and then sold it to Paul Cavins, I thought it had 17's on it then, I asked the seller and he said 18's had been on it for quite a while.
The truth will surface......Always does.

Yep, that was my car at one time. I bought it from Clint Hooper in 2003 (who bought it from Bryan Bowkers in Arizona). Those OZ 3-piece wheels are the same as when I had it, no change there. I think Clint took those off his red 1990 ZR1 and put them on this one. The car was sold new in Florida and the Callaway Aerobody was installed by a Corvette shop in Colorado, that is when the color change was done. They actually did a pretty decent job with the color change. However, the purple would not have been my first choice, maybe black. It does have the Doug Rippie DRM 500 package done to it as well. I put all of the receipts for the modifications and upgrades-which are many- in a 3 ring binder. It is a very well documented car. At one time a couple of years back Mark Sidwell (the gentleman I sold it to) had it for sale on this site for around $40k I think. The scoops on the hood are not functional. However, someone cut holes in the hood for some strange reason when they were installed. When you wash the car, water will get all over the engine compartment as a result. Paul C.
