Traction is going to be the next challenge, along with re-setting my rev limiter to 7500 ish(?), and maybe some gears. She slipped most of the way thru first, and I hit the rev limiter before I could react to the shift light. Second gear slipped most of the way thru the tach, and I hit the rev limiter again in 3rd at about 200 feet shy of the trap.

So, I've got some work to do before next season: Tires and rev limiter re-set at least. I console myself by remembering that in spite of everything that went wrong, it ran a 12.6 at 117.x mph. She's got the potential. Just have to dig it out now.
