I am finishing here a 427 LT5 with stage 3 cams. According my calculations the stage 3 exhaust cams are probably to much. The dyno run will show.
I also install bigger inlet valves and leave the exhaust valves stock size. For a ported 350cui LT5 I would take the inlet cams a bit bigger but not more than stage 1. The exhaust cams can be left stock with a professional valve seat and exhaust port job. Sam |
