Electrical connector on vacuum release switch?

Is there supposed to be an electrical connector to the vacuum release switch on the brake pedal? I notice that on the clutch pedal there is the same connector with something connected to it. My cruise control does not work and this is the only suspect thing I have found so far. I looked around for a loose connector that plugs into the switch but could not find anything. I'll attach a pic of the vacuum release switch on the brake pedal. Thanks!
