Default Measuring fuel pressure...

Santa says not to buy a Helm's manual...(Gee. I wonder why he (she) said that???) Well, in the mean time, I want to measure fuel pressure and do a leak down test. So, some help, por favor! (I'll puruse the search function too.)
  1. What would a recommendation be and where would I get a quality (not necessarily 'gold plated', if ya know what I mean) fuel pressure gauge, and where on the rail(s) do I connect it?
  2. Do I need any special interface/connectors to do this?
  3. What would the leak-down test procedure be, and what results would be "in the acceptance window"?
Thanks in advance.
