Just thought I'd share a story
In 1967 my father who was 21 went to the local dealer to purchase a 67 Corvette. It was raining the morning of, and the dealer would not allow him to test drive the car even though he had the cash on hand to purchase the car. They told him it was dealership policy that anyone under the age of 26 could not test drive Corvette's in the rain.
So he purchased a camaro instead at another dealer. Then in 1989 my brother turned 18, anticipating his birthday my father repainted and reupholstered the car. When my brother became 18 he decided he didnt want the 67 and pushed my father into buying him 69. When I turned 18 I wanted a 4x4 truck.....living on the farm and always working around the property it only seemed right to me that I needed a truck. My father told me then if you want a truck buy yourself a truck. The 67 Camaro is yours, i drove the car about 3 times and worked an entire summer to buy the truck I was wanting. It cost me $2200.00 and I loved that truck. The camaro stays in the garage covered up, and only one time per year it comes out to get washed and ran for a bit then put back away. Yesterday I decided to get it out and take it for a spin, with a cleanup first. 1967 350ss Camaro, never had a peice of sheetmetal put on it. This is a real GM Camaro. Hope you enjoy!
