Fuel Pumps
OK, so I had a 55 code pop up this past week and I checked the fuel pressure at the rail. I have 45 psi from the primary, and only 20 psi from the secondary pump. So it was time to yank them out.
I've been doing a lot of research on which pumps to get and I've seen a lot of negative postings on the Airtex pumps, both here on the forum and also on other websites. What makes have shown to hold up well? Summit has Airtex, Delphi, and Carter pumps that list as compatible. Also, Rock Auto has this Performance Electric Pump with strainer for $21.99/ea. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...nid=479&jpid=2 Any ideas on these? I don't want to put in the pumps only to have them crap out again really soon. Thanks in advance.
