My New, 23 Year Old ZR-1
This ZR-1 is now for Sale Two summers ago I put a set of C6 ZR1 wheels and tires on my 2006 ZO6. I really liked the look of these wheels. From the day I bought them I also thought they would look sharp on my C4 ZR-1. I test fitted the C6 ZR-1 wheels on the C4 ZR-1 several times. Doing so confirmed that one day I was going to buy a set for the 1991 ZR-1. The C6 19” wheels didn’t look bad on the front of the C4 but I thought the 20” wheels on the back were too much. This winter, when I decided I was going to put Michelin runflats on my 1991 ZR-1 I also decided to install the C6 ZR1 wheels. The wheels, tires, and lowering was done by Marc Haibeck who did his typical outstanding work. The look may not be for everyone but I really like it. The ZO6 that started me thinking I'd like to see C6 ZR1 OE wheels on a C4 ZR-1. My ZR-1 with the CCW 18" Classic's (front and back) before the new wheels. My new, 23 year old ZR-1 with its recent makeover. 275/35 18"X9.5" on the front and 325/30 19" X 12" on the back. Last edited by HIZNHRZ; 01-07-2018 at 12:31 PM. |
