If it was me, I would use an 84-85 C4 as my base. They don't have CCMs to deal w. My 84 Z51 weighed 3250 w fluids. So imagine throwing in a lightweight LSx motor. Then the EFI and the PCM selection would be pretty straightforward using something like the 411. No hood clearance issues. Just thinking out loud. This was something I considered before buying my ZR. At the time, it was a more difficult swap. But today, they have kits for this. I think ZF-Doc even has a way of bolting ZF to LSx motor. Maybe an LS7.
Then throw on a set of CROSSFIRE INJECTION belt line moldings. ![]() ![]()
