Re: Need a new steering wheel

I think that one for the 90-93 looks awesome in that custom original style from Europe. I think this is really one of those "Different Strokes for Different Folks" and we all have our own tastes and preference is all. I respect everyone's choice and decision and just feel that the OEM is a tad too big for me. Another thing to consider is calling Jason Howard at Crowder's about the short hub adapter. If you notice the depth of the OEM wheel you want to measure where you want your wheel to end up and with my NRG quick release and NRG short hub, plus the wheel, it is perfect where I want it. All of this is related to arm length, seating position, legs, etc. so each of us is different. You can make the measurements and calculate it with the specs from the pieces. Jason is very knowledgeable with what works with what and I went with NRG because you can bolt any brand wheel to it. I might buy another one later to change up the look and feel later. When I go to the next Tokyo Auto Salon, I will get another very nice wheel that I should have bought this year that was cheap for shipping the car (just in case it gets stolen once arrives out of the container in Hawaii). Another plus with quick release is the locking feature to the hub and another theft deterrent when there is no way to drive the car.
