Another Left Rear Popping
Wife started complaining about left rear popping noise. I inspected to make sure nothing was coming apart and it was safe to drive. I ordered enough washers to replace both sides plus a few extra. Finally got around to changing them this weekend. Since the U-joints felt solid, I decided to work from the hub inward and glad I did. The hub inner seal was slinging grease and I may not have thought much of it if I had pulled the half shaft only to replace the washer.
I knew it needed front hubs and thought I had all four hubs on the shelf as spares. Only had fronts, so I changed those and ordered rear hubs. |
