I was thinking about installing these because of all the water that puddles there after washing the car. I'm not to keen on drilling holes though. I was just wondering from anyone that's installed them how satisfied they are with them and if it was worth installing them.

I have them in my 95 and had them in my 93. Worked great. The 93's went in with no problems but the instructions then and now that come with the kit are inadequate. (Got mine from Mid America). There is a significant wiring harness on the right side right about where you want to drill. When I started to drill in the 95 on the right and got through the fiberglass, my lights blinked so I stopped. Had Marc do it when the car was in for other work. He found that I had just scraped a couple of wires and he taped them up. But he recommends that you remove the carpeting etc from the inside so you can see what you are doing. You need to drill through both the top and then down into the wheel well. Then make sure you seal them well. You will encounter a lot of yellowish sticky gunk that is used by GM for sealing weatherstrippng (I think). Good luck! -- Bob
