Theft deterrents and recovery systems

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I just searched for Lojack and didn't find anything. I just wonder if it would be worth the $$$ to get a Lojack for the Z. Mine has been in the family since new. I don't want a f&*#ing thief taking it in the first place, but if it gets stolen I'd rather get it back before it gets chopped. Sure, insurance will give you money, but the car means more to me than the dollar value.

As far as deterrents, I've been thinking about getting some sort of safe or lock box to keep keys in also. I've got the Z, and quite a few motorcycles in the garage, and if someone did break in the house it would be harder for them to get the keys if they were locked up. Preferably something bolted down, or otherwise permanently mounted so they can't just take the whole thing and crack it open later at their leisure. Any recommendations?

I'd also like to have a system that would catch the thief in progress so I could torture them later, but I don't think those are available.
