I'll more than likely damage the sensor, but once I replace it w/ a one I'll try to repair the old one, that way I'll have a spare. You should have a free lifetime membership for the amount of useful information you but in here.

Well as the write-up says, I really didn't set out to fix the old one. It's the engineering background I have that made me curious about the failure/leakage. Then when I discovered how easy it was to fix ..... one thing lead to another and I just had to know if the fix worked
