What Happens When your Ride Control Module Dies?
So, I have been unsuccessfully chasing a problem with my speed sensor. The FSM suggests removing the ride control module (which also connects to the VSS) to ensure that module is not causing a loss of VSS signal.
I disconnected the ride control module (which unfortunatley was not causing my intermittent VSS issue) - what I was surprised by was that I got no error codes on the D.I.C. - even after staring the engine 3 times? I was expecting at last to get an SRC code on the third start. Has anyone had a ride control module fail? How do you know when it fails?
