Corvettes at Carlisle was a great success
Despite the threat of Huricane Irene, The ZR-1 Net Registry participation in Corvettes at Carlisle was a great success. The fantastic display of all of the Corvettes in the ZR-1 (ZR1) lineage was the highlight of the entire C@C event. Many visitors came to the exhibit and there were thousands of photos taken. There were lots of questions about ZR-1's and the King of the Hill was brought to the attention of the masses.
The Registry tent, in our new location near the Midway was very visible. We became the most active and busy area in the whole show. Many people stopped by and chatted. The Registry Hospitality was well recieved. We served burgers and sodas to about 500 people and we made sure that everyone stayed hydrated. With the help of our fine sponsors, the Registry Raffle raised $1215.
